Last Monday we went hiking. Here is a picture of Mel and the other hikers.

We hiked 4.9 mile and we both were really tired when we got home.

Last Friday we had a visit from Mel's other cousins. Paul and Roxie are here in the
valley on a church work project. They came over to see Howard and Allene and Mel
and I. Here is a picture of the 6 of us.
We enjoyed a nice cook out that evening on our patio.
Below is a picture of our saguaro cactus in our back yard. If you
zoom in on it you can see how much it has grown in one years time.
Mel put black tape on the little pole to keep track of how much it grows.
We started keeping record in 2006.


We are both doing fine. Really are enjoying the upper 60's and 70's this

past week. We love you and miss you.

Hi to all our family and friends

Every Monday we go out in the desert to hike. Here are

a couple of pictures from our hike.

A huge saguaro cactus.

The other day we were sitting in our house and we heard this huge
explosion against our window. We looked outside and their lay a small hawk
that had flown against our window. It layed their all knocked out. About a half hour later
it was sitting up and when we went outside it flew away.



The other evening we had a gorgeous view of the Superstition Mountains.

Psalm 93:1 "The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty;

the Lord is robed in majesty and is armed with strength.

The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.
