Last Monday we went hiking. Here is a picture of Mel and the other hikers.We hiked 4.9 mile and we both were really tired when we got home.

Last Friday we had a visit from Mel's other cousins. Paul and Roxie are here in the
valley on a church work project. They came over to see Howard and Allene and Mel
and I. Here is a picture of the 6 of us.
We enjoyed a nice cook out that evening on our patio.

Mel put black tape on the little pole to keep track of how much it grows.

Sounds like you are having a great time. I love the cactus pictures. I got to see Riley Sue this weekend. She is adorable. I'm sure you can't wait to meet another great-grandbaby! Love you, Sarah
